Cape Town's best-loved singletrack network, winding through pine plantations and fynbos on the eastern slopes of the Constantiaberg. Tokai offers everything from mellow family loops along the greenbelt to proper technical climbs and flowing descents with views over False Bay. The trails drain well after winter rain and ride fast and dry through summer.
The network is managed in partnership with SANParks — a valid activity permit is required and can be bought at the gate or online. Watch for hikers and horses on the lower shared paths.
